Study of microstructure geometry and properties of laser beam welded joints made of S960QL structural steel and S304 corrosion-resistant steel

چکیده

Contemporary grades of structural steels are produced using a very advanced thermo-mechanical treatment processes, so their properties strongly depend on the obtained structure. Corrosion-resistant austenitic have high hot cracking tendency. Therefore, it is advantageous to use welding technologies, such as laser welding, that limit size joint and its heat-affected zones thus deformations caused by process. Laser also characterized small amount heat transferred into material during process which limits During tests, 8 samples made S960QL steel S304 steel, were prepared Trumpf TruDisk 3302 device. The subjected macro- microscopy metallographic tests. Static tensile test bend performed well hardness Vickers under load 100N. Good quality joints obtained, number imperfections, weld affected zone, satisfactory mechanical properties.
